Everyday Icelandic: Join us at House of Grace
Join VegaLingo founder Adetayo Adebimpe and volunteers at House of Grace on 19 November for practical Icelandic conversation practice.
Learning Icelandic while living in Iceland comes with real daily challenges. On 19 November from 17:00 to 19:00, House of Grace is hosting an event called Íslenska í daglegu lífi ("Icelandic in daily life").

The event takes place on the third floor of Innovation House at Eiðistorg 13 to 15 in Seltjarnarnes. It offers space to chat, practice real scenarios, and discuss language integration in a supportive environment.
Adetayo Adebimpe, founder of VegaLingo, will attend as a guest speaker. VegaLingo is an Icelandic learning platform built for foreigners living in Iceland to help make language learning faster and more effective.

What to expect at the event
The gathering brings together native and fluent Icelandic speakers, including trade union social workers, bankers, and other professionals. Participants can practice speaking Icelandic in scenarios encountered when seeking everyday services in Iceland.
During the session, participants can:
- Practice real conversations with friendly volunteers.
- Explore useful services and connect with community members.
- Chat and share experiences to understand common language integration challenges.
- Enjoy light refreshments provided by the hosts.
